The First Cut

Here we are. Entry number one. I'm glad you're here, and as a tribute to your faith, I'm not gonna waste your time. Here's the skinny: I made a record -- SUDDENLY BRIGHT OUT -- it's coming out April 15th, but you can listen to it (and buy it) here.

I'm playing solo shows too -- which is about as scary a thing as I can imagine. It's easier though with witnesses. If you'd like to be one check the live dates part of the music page, or better yet subscribe to my newsletter. I'll make it easy and painless (for you) to stay informed.

There's a bunch of new stuff that no one's really seen (or heard) here on the site, and there's a pretty complete collection of older scripts that some of you may be interested in. So have a good look around. Why not? You've made it this far.

And finally to finish, a new poem. It opens DEAD TECHNOLOGY PLAY:

We sit weird and still in these
old feathered rockets.
Waiting for wind. Waiting
for lift.
In crooked and natural steel
our stance
correct
our corset
strict.

Talk to you soon.
