We Gone Find Out

I don't have another show for a couple of weeks, and I'm psyched to start working on new songs. Plus I'm gonna be DEVOTED to the site. Seriously. Religiously. Check the new Audio Journal, down there on the left -- that's where all the new stuff's gonna land first. And we're working on myspace.com/kirksmith. It'll be another week or so before we're ready for friends to visit but it's gonna be cool. I'll let you know when we're ready. As long as you're on the mailing list. Hit that white button that says, "subscribe". There on the left. Below said Audio Journal. By Next Live Date.

Last night, well this morning actually, although it was still dark, I burned a second disk of song sketches: #25-#44. Then I watched a Jay-Z DVD because he rules. Now that's 44 working versions of songs. It's too many, I know. Way too many. I built up a backlog while I was putting out the SUDDENLY BRIGHT OUT record, booking gigs, learning how to write a press release, and how to play guitar. How many you reckon I can finish in 44 trips to the plate? We gone find out . . .
