In the Back of the Car

I found something in the back of the car yesterday. And for some reason it disturbed me a little. I was surprised, you know, to find it there, wedged into the pocket on the back of the passenger seat. It didn't offend me or anything, or gross me out. I just thought it was weird. It's not like on an airplane where you expect someone to come round checking after every flight, cleaning out all the garbage and whatnot from the seat back pockets, or whatever they call those things. I'm pretty sure they're called seat back pockets, because that's what they are. Anyhow, there it was, this thing, crushed about in half and stuffed there. And something had to be done about it. So I decided to put my ego aside for a moment. I thought I'd just clean it up, throw it away, whatever. No big deal. Turned out that it was Robert Redford's coffee cup, which is harder to throw out than you might imagine.
